Seit der Veröffentlichung einiger Presseartikel über den Dokumentarfilm "Loose Change" sind 4 grosse Filmstudios mit den Produzenten in Verhandlungen über eine dramtisierte Kinoversion des Films.
Der Film wird auf dem Sundance Film Festival im nächsten Jahr uraufgeführt.

"9/11 - Forderung nach Wahrheit" ein 48-minütiger Film von DTT Documentaries in New York erzählt die Geschichte der vier "9/11 Witwen" auch bekannt als Jersey Girls. Zusammen kämpften sie über
ein Jahr mit dem Weissen Haus und schliesslich gelang es ihnen die Einsetzung des Untersuchungsausschuss zum 11.September durchzusetzen. Sie endeckten jedoch bald, das die Kommission selbst auch hoffnungslos kompromitiert war.als nämlich 70% ihrer Fragen unbeantwortet blieben. 18/07/06 Mercury’s, Loose Change 2 doc is set to explode the official narrative of 9/11 world on the fifth anniversary

The controversial film, which Italian daily ‘Corriere Della Sera’ described as ‘bigger than Fahrenheit 9/11’, alleges that the US government has lied about the events of 9/11 as a pretext for starting ‘The War On Terror’.

MercuryMedia today announced that following a four-page article in the August edition of Vanity Fair magazine, the film has secured a number of programme licences, garnered movie studio interest and has been offered professional grassroots marketing expertise.

Loose Change 2, was made by film-makers Dylan Avery and Korey Rowe of Louder Than Words LLC.

Said Nancy Jo Sales of Vanity Fair ‘the 80 minute film might be the first internet blockbuster… with at least 10 million downloads… It is safe to say that, if it were a theatrical release, Loose Change would be one of the most popular – and incendiary- movies in the country right now’.

Since the article’s publication, four movie studios have contacted Louder Than Words about co-producing the theatrical cut, Loose Change Final Edition, which is in production now. Mercury will distribute the property outside the U.S. It is set to debut at next years Sundance Festival. The producers had this to say: “It is our goal to reach as many people as possible, it is our belief that releasing Loose Change Final Cut at Sundance will be a step in that direction.”

The film which formed a presentation on ‘reverse distribution’ at Discovery Campus at the weekend has also won the support of ‘What the Bleep’ grassroots marketeer Pavel Mikoloski who said ‘I will do what I can to get the word out about Loose Change’

International Broadcasters Planete France, Canal+ Poland, VRT Belgium, Vara Holland, Noga Israel, MBC Middle East, Noga Israel, Globosat Brazil and Rai Italy are all licencing the film or parts of the film for 9/11 anniversary shows. In addition VOD and DVD rights in a number of territories have been snapped up.

UK based distributor, MercuryMedia is continuing its acquisitions drive with a new addition to its slate of documentaries.

Charged with emotion and new revelations, this documentary dramatically retraces “The Jersey Girls’” quest for truth and the disturbing answers they uncover through their independent research.
